Terms of service

Version: 30 October 2026

This is a translation. If it differs from the Dutch version, the Dutch version applies.

1. Definitions & scope

These terms apply to all use of Branddock, a product of Better Brands (sole proprietorship, Chamber of Commerce no. 75832208), Frisopark 2, 6711 WZ Ede, the Netherlands (“Branddock”, “we”). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Branddock is a SaaS platform for brand strategy, research and AI content generation. We provide the service “as is” and keep improving it; features may change. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

3. Trial & subscriptions

  • New accounts get 28 days of free access with a starting balance of credits, without payment details.
  • After that you choose a monthly subscription (Starter, Growth or Agency), or, as a business customer, an annual subscription. An annual subscription costs 10 times the monthly price. Prices are on the pricing page. For business customers they exclude VAT; as a consumer you pay the price including your country's VAT, and you see that total before you pay.
  • A monthly subscription can be cancelled monthly; you can upgrade or downgrade at any time, prorated.
  • An annual subscription is only for business customers. You are a business customer if you purchase Branddock for your profession or business. It renews every year, and you can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current year. If you are a consumer, you take a monthly subscription, which stays cancellable monthly.
  • Credits only measure generated output. Extra credits (top-ups) do not expire while your subscription is active.

4. Payment

You buy Branddock through Paddle.com, which as the seller (merchant of record) handles the order, the payment, VAT and the invoice; Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to the payment. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features after informing you. Refunds and the right of withdrawal are set out in our refund policy.

5. Your content & data

  • You remain the owner of the brand data you enter and of the content you generate with Branddock.
  • We use your workspace content only to provide the service to you, not to train third-party AI models.
  • You are responsible for the lawfulness of the material you upload and for how you use generated content (including checking accuracy and claims). For photos of people, article 7 also applies.

6. Fair use

You may not use Branddock for unlawful content, spam, infringing the rights of others, or circumventing technical limits. In case of misuse we may suspend or terminate an account.

Branddock marks much of what it makes with AI in a machine-readable way, in the metadata of a file or a page. Which output is and is not marked is set out in How Branddock marks AI content. You do not remove or change an AI marking in that content on purpose. This does not apply where you, in good faith, need to adjust the metadata so that it stays accurate and usable after further processing, nor to security audits or other research.

7. AI images, video and voice

  • You must not use Branddock’s image, video and voice features for: deepfakes (images, video or audio that make a real person say or do something they did not say or do); face swaps (putting a real person’s face on another body or into another scene); imitating a real person’s voice; images or video showing the face or recognisable likeness of a real person without that person’s explicit consent; sexual, degrading or misleading content about real people; or sexually explicit content.
  • When you use a photo of a person (for a person model, a video from a photo or a face edit), you confirm in Branddock that everyone shown in that photo has given you explicit consent, or is you. We record that confirmation: who, when, and for which model or file. Without that confirmation Branddock does not process the photo.
  • You are responsible for that consent and for what you do with the result. In case of misuse we may remove content and suspend or terminate an account, and we cooperate with a request from a person depicted or a competent authority.

8. Liability

Our liability is limited to direct damage and to at most the amount you paid Branddock in the 12 months before the damage. We are not liable for indirect damage or for decisions made on the basis of generated content.

9. Termination

You can cancel your subscription at any time; the service remains available until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow our refund policy. After termination you can have your data exported; after that we delete workspace content in line with our privacy statement.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes are submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, you keep the protection that the mandatory rules of the law of your country of residence give you, and you can also go to the court where you live.
